This is the simplest case, because it's already how unSquared behaves out of the box - there's nothing you need to turn off.
Both add-ons are off by default

- Migrate discounts from SquareOFF
Off by default. Square discounts are migrated based on the method selected below it, but only once this is turned on.
Both toggles live in the same place - the Product Catalog settings screen, under Product Organization and Discount Migration respectively. If you've never touched either one, a Product Catalog migration already brings across just your catalog: titles, variants, images, pricing, and inventory - nothing else.
First run: save Field Mapping and Migration Settings once
Before your first product migration, "Migrate to Shopify" stays disabled until both Field Mapping and Migration Settings have been saved at least once - even if you keep every default. Review each section and click its Save button (each one is clickable right away while it says "Not saved yet"). You only do this once per store.
Turning either on later doesn't require starting over
Both Collections and Discounts can be turned on any time after your first Products-only run and migrated separately - unSquared matches against what's already in Shopify (by a Square-ID metafield first, falling back to a handle or tag match) rather than creating duplicates, so nothing you've already migrated needs to be redone.
